Pre-purchase inspection
Before buying a used vehicle, especially a diesel: we inspect it and tell you what we found.
Why inspect before buying
A worn diesel can hide expensive repairs: injectors, turbo, emissions system. The inspection tells you the vehicle’s real condition before you sign. If work is coming, you know it when you discuss the price.
What we check
- Fault codes and the condition of the particulate filter.
- The emissions system: EGR, DEF.
- Leaks, engine and turbo condition.
- Brakes, suspension, steering and tires.
- Rust under the vehicle.
- A road test.
How it works
Book an appointment, then bring the vehicle in, or ask the seller to bring it. We explain what we found and what work to expect.
